Joe Hart’s time with his current club Manchester City looks almost over as they are preparing to let go of the English shot-stopper in the summer. The last term as well, they left the player to go on and join Italian side Torino, but that was on a season-long loan, on the completion of which, Hart has returned to join his teammates at the Etihad Stadium.
It was a very happy moment for all Manchester City fans and players, as they found out last season that their beloved club had managed to rope in one of the best managers in the world in the form of Pep Guardiola, who came in from German champions Bayern Munich.
However, it was not the same way for their first choice goalkeeper Joe Hart, with him being pushed down the pecking order by the Spaniard, who brought in the Chilean goalkeeper Claudio Bravo from his former club Barcelona and made him stand beneath the crossbar, so as to deprive the English ace, sending him on loan to join the Italian outfit.
This season, Guardiola has already brought in Brazilian custodian Ederson from Portuguese Primeira Liga champions Benfica and is set to make him the first choice goalkeeper, given his great performance in the last season, to replace Bravo, who has not clicked for the Citizens since his move from the Spanish giants.
This has made it clear that there is not going to be any place for the English goalkeeper in the first team in the next season as well, and he is set to leave in the summer in search of a new club, where he can get regular first-team exposure.
Reportedly, West Ham United have been quite interested in bringing in the English shot stopper to their team for the next term. Slaven Bilic is wary of the form that his current no. 1 Adrian is in and is in search of a goalkeeper who has proven himself in the top flight over the years.
Joe Hart, whose absence from his current team on a regular basis might affect his international career, might be open to a move to the London club as well. With the prospect of playing in an English outfit providing him with the much-needed impetus to make it into the World Cup squad for Russia 2018, West Ham United can perfectly fit his bill.
However, the Hammers are in for a season-long loan deal for the English ace, while Joe Hart is eyeing a permanent move in the summer.
