The South Coast club have been eyeing a number of players to be brought into the side for the next season and are in talks with a quite a few players including Yann Karamoh from the French Ligue 1 club Caen. The young French attacking midfielder has been one of the players to be held in the highest regard by a number of clubs in the Premier League other than Southampton, with Arsenal also keeping their tabs on him to be brought into the side for the next season.
The Saints have been looking to strengthen their strike force for the next season, which has been one of the main reasons for the club to fail to secure a spot in the top six last term. The new manager of the Premier League outfit, Mauricio Pellegrino, who has been appointed in the place of the French mastermind Claude Puel, has been eyeing the 18-year-old as one of his primary attackers and is desperate to get him in the summer transfer window.
The youngster has played in 35 matches throughout the last term for his current club, scoring five goals. He has also been instrumental with his passing, which has caused him to create chances for his teammates to score goals, as he has been entitled to have notched up four assists in the last season as well.

Reportedly, the 18-year old has been in a fair bit of turmoil with his club over his contract, which is going to end as the next season finishes. He has been advised by his lawyer not to make any hasty decisions and see off his contract with the French Ligue 1 club.
Southampton are also waiting in the wings with a bid of £8.75 million to get the player into their line-up after the resolution of the problem between the club and Karamoh.
