Real Madrid are reportedly on their way to dish out a world record transfer fee, which might well be in excess of a £100 million, to rope in the French sensation Kylian Mbappe to Santiago Bernabeu in the next season. The 18-year old still has one more year left on his contract and can make the choice to stay back at his current club AS Monaco, but the Galacticos are not looking to take any chances and make the deal final as early as this summer and bring in the French forward to spearhead their attack alongside arguably the best player in the world, Cristiano Ronaldo and fellow countryman Karim Benzema.
The teenage sensation made a name for himself when he starred for his club at both the domestic as well as European competitions. He was one of the biggest factors for his team’s success in the French Ligue 1 competition and made it possible for them to win it after a long gap of 17 years. The 18-year-old striker was equally good at faring against the top defenders from all over Europe and took his club to the semi-final of the competition, where they eventually bowed out to the Italian giants Juventus.
The Galacticos are on their way to make sure that the transfer deal happens, with more than £100 million to be splashed as the transfer fee. The French champions might look to tie down their prized possession with an improved contract offer, but it quite unlikely that the French youngster will stay back at the Stade Louis II for the next season.
Real Madrid, are reportedly also on their way to offload their Spanish striker and Colombian attacker Alvaro Morata and James Rodriguez in the summer transfer window. This will ensure that the French striker does not have much competition to vie with at the Santiago Bernabeu and make it into the first team with ease, playing an important role alongside Ronaldo, Benzema and probably Gareth Bale, who might also be looking to make a move out of Bernabeu in the next season.
Speculations are rife that the current coach of Real Madrid, Zinedine Zidane, has assured his fellow countryman Mbappe of the fact that he will be a part of his starting line-up for the next season at the expense of even his star forwards.
The line-up can look something like this with Mbappe in it-
Navas, Carvajal, Varane, Ramos, Marcelo, Kroos, Casemiro, Modric/Isco, Ronaldo, Benzema, Mbappe
