Huddersfield Town, who will be playing their first match in 45 years in the Premier League, are looking forward to making it one of the memorable seasons for them and keep their place in the top flight intact.
The Terriers are well aware of the fact that they will be facing some big names in European football including the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City, Tottenham, Arsenal, Liverpool, Everton and defending champions Chelsea and will need to bring in a number of players who can make it possible for them to take on the aforementioned teams.
The man in charge at the John Smith’s Stadium, David Wagner, is eyeing a number of players to be brought into the side for the next term, of which the French youngster Marcus Coco has been one of the players to have caught the attention of the German tactician the most and he is lining up a bid for the 21-year-old wing back, who currently plays for the French side Guingamp.
The young player is known for his pace and prowess on the pitch and can be the part of any top class defence in the future. He also has excellent dribbling skills to go with his blistering runs into the heart of the defence, causing enough trouble to the opposition defenders throughout his career so far. He can also take lethal shots on the goal both from distance as well as close range, which is at times too vicious to be stopped by the opposition goalkeepers.
The Huddersfield coach is well aware of the fact that he will need reinforcements to be brought into the team to rebuild it for the next term, and have already got six signings so far this summer in the form of Laurent Depoitre from FC Porto, Tom Ince from Derby County, Mathias Jorgensen from FC Copenhagen, Steve Mounie from Montpellier and Scott Malone and Daniel Williams from Championship sides Fulham and Reading for the next term. Marcus Coco is going to be their seventh and probably most significant signing if they can crack the deal in the next few days.
The French Under 21 international is one of the most treasured players for his club in the current situation and it is likely that the club might be willing to let go of their star for the right price. Reportedly, the Terriers are lining up a bid for the right wing back, who has been priced at £10 million by the French outfit in the summer transfer window.
