Everton are on their way to make a good season out of the next one and are not at all holding themselves back from splashing the cash on the right players for the next term. They have already brought in seven players to rebuild their team for the new season and are in contention to add some more names to their roster.
The Toffees might be looking forward to bring in the young midfielder from Juventus, Mario Lemina, who has been mostly out-of-favour under the coaching of Maxi Allegri, the current man in charge at Juventus. The Bianconeri coach is well aware of the qualities of the Gabonese international, but has been compelled to keep him on the bench due to the availability of a number of players to play in the same position that Lemina is assigned to play for, including the likes of Miralem Pjanic, Sami Khedira and Claudio Marchisio, with Stefano Sturaro as the first choice for back-up.
This has reportedly made the 23-year-old quite impatient and he is looking to prolong his career with some other club in the next season. Reportedly, the Merseyside club is one of the most interested outfits in the young player and are in line to sign him for the next season.
Everton might lose one of their mainstays in the midfield in the summer, James Mccarthy, who had an injury-plagued season in the last term and might be offloaded for the next season. If the Irish midfielder, who plays in the central midfield for the Merseyside club, is left to join another club in the summer transfer window, there is a possibility that the Toffees might go for the Gabonese youngster to be brought into the team for the next term.
Lemina is known for his strong presence in the middle of the field, keeping control of the ball and distributing it in the right direction at the right time. He also can make good tackles and clear the danger out of the attacking third of his team, keeping the opposition strikers at bay. Though primarily a central midfielder, he can also operate on the right flank and can be used as a right back as well.
The 23-year-old has been kept out of the side in the last season on a regular basis, having made only eight appearances for Juventus in the starting line-up. That scenario might change in case the Toffees make the decision in favour of bagging him for the next season.
