Brighton & Hove Albion are looking to get their hands on some good players for the next season, as the Seagulls are set to start their debut season in the Premier League with a bang and make a mark in the top tier in their very first campaign in it.
Brighton are looking forward to make significant signings for the next season in order to revamp their squad and have already brought in the goalkeeper Mathew Ryan from the Spanish side Valencia to stand beneath the crossbar for the new season. They are now looking to add to the firepower of the side and want to bring in a top class striker who can spearhead their attack for the next season.
Reportedly, the man in charge at the Falmer Stadium, Chris Hughton, is trying hard to bag the young striker Tom Lawrence from the Premier League club Leicester City for the next term. The wily tactician has been eyeing the player for quite some time and is now poised to make a bid for the forward in the summer transfer window.
The 23-year-old is one of the brightest young talents in the current situation and has played for a number of clubs in the Championship and the Premier League. He joined the Foxes in 2014 and was sent on loan in the last term to play for the Championship side Ipswich Town, where he made 36 appearances for the club and scored 11 goals in them.
His performance as a forward has been commended by a number of experts and it did not fail to impress the Seagulls coach as well. The young Welsh striker has been known for his pace and prowess as well as for his finishing from both long and close range. His ability to play as a winger also impressed the Brighton manager, who is looking to put a bid of £8 million on the table to break the transfer record of the club for bagging Lawrence in the summer.
The player is known for his goals, especially for the way he finishes them, which makes them all the more special and a real treat to watch. The 23-year-old Welsh striker has already played for the Manchester United Under 23 side and has also made one appearance for their senior side. However, he made only four appearances for the Leicester City side since his inclusion in the squad since 2014 and was sent on loan for significant first team exposure.
