West Ham United have concluded a season which has been rather unsatisfactory for them and the Hammers are looking determined to make amends for it in the next term. The club authority have kept their faith in their present coach Slaven Bilic and has given him one more season to prove his worth by bringing in players who can lift them out of trouble in the next season.
One such player is Jurgen Damm, who has been playing his football in his native country Mexico with the club Tigres. The 24-year-old has been brilliant in the midfield for his current club this season and has attracted interests from a number of clubs from all over Europe including West Ham United, who are in dire need of reinforcements to be brought into the squad for the next season.
Damm has been going from strength to strength throughout his career and has been at the peak of his form for the last couple of years. The Mexican winger impressed so much with his display of skills for his current club side that it earned him a call up for his National side recently. He also has been pursued by scouts from a number of clubs from all over Europe as well America, who are keeping a keen eye on his progress in the future.
However, the midfielder himself is quite interested in moving to England and playing in the Premier League, and is looking for a good offer from a Premier League club to initiate a move this summer. Reportedly, the winger has been subject to an offer worth £4 million to the Hammers for the next season, snubbing a better bid from his current club’s close rivals Chivas in the Mexican League.
The winger has been known for his electrifying pace and has a staggering average of 35.23 kilometres per hour while running with the ball. The 24-year-old midfielder has put his pace to good use this season and has scored five goals this season and has played 34 games this term.
Damm had his chance to give a trial for one of the biggest clubs of Premier League, Manchester United, on a recommendation from Eduardo Hernandez, the agent of his National team colleague Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez four years ago, when the latter used to play for the Red Devils.
Slaven Bilic, the West Ham United, is looking to bring in someone to share the workload with brilliant midfielder Michail Antonio in the wider areas of the field and the Mexican youngster completely fits his bill.
