Chris Smalling has been one of the players who has been far from his prime in the recently concluded season and has been totally out of favour under the new manager Jose Mourinho. Chris Smalling, in these circumstances, can be a good player for West Brom to invest into, and with the amount of experience the England international has in top flight football, it can be a good signing for the Baggies to bring him into the Hawthorns in the next season.
Crystal Palace-
Another team, who have done well in the Premier League very late in the season, are the South London club Crystal Palace. They have been facing some problems in their defence and are looking to bring a top class defender who can help them stabilise their defence in the next season. If the Red Devils let go of their centre-back Smalling in the next season, it might be possible that the England international ends up signing for the Eagles in the next season.
West Ham United-
The Hammers had a disappointing season in the recently concluded season and might be interested in signing the England international from Manchester United to strengthen their side. Slaven Bilic is reportedly interested in landing Smalling in the summer, who he believes can be a good addition to his backline.
