It has been a great season of football for the Spanish giants Real Madrid, as they went on to win both the Spanish La Liga and UEFA Champions League title in the same season. All the players have contributed to their fullest in making this emphatic season a reality, including the likes of youngsters such as Alvaro Morata, Marco Asensio, Lucas Vasquez and Isco.
However, the mercurial Spanish striker Alvaro Morata has evidently been underplayed, with only 14 starts in the Spanish La Liga and just a single start in the Champions League. This has reportedly disappointed the youngster, who is looking for a move to a club who might be able to guarantee him a regular place in the starting XI.
As per sources, Alvaro Morata is looking to head back to Italy, where he spent a very good season with the present Italian champions Juventus. This time though, the club might be the arch rivals of the Bianconeri, AC Milan.
Speculations are rife that the Spaniard has agreed terms with the Rossoneri and it is just a matter of the transfer fees which needs to be negotiated for him to make a move back to Italy. In case he leaves Santiago Bernabeu, the Galacticos will have to find a good player to replace him.
Three players who can step up as a replacement for the mercurial forward are-
Sandro Ramirez-
The 21-year-old Malaga forward can be a perfect replacement for his compatriot at Real Madrid in case he leaves the Bernabeu in the summer to join AC Milan. The ex-Barcelona forward was brought in at the La Rosaleda last summer as a surplus striker from the Catalan club. He showed his mettle to the fullest during the season and scored 14 goals in total, appearing on 31 occasions for the club.
Iago Aspas-
Another Spanish striker, this time from Celta Vigo, has done a really commendable job for his club this season, making his club reach the semi-finals of the UEFA Europa League. Scorer of 27 goals in 51 appearances for his club, the Spaniard can be the perfect replacement for his compatriot at Real Madrid, in case he leaves for AC Milan in the summer.
Romelu Lukaku-
The Belgian striker, who has been instrumental this season, notching up 25 goals to finish as the top scorer for Everton, can be a good replacement for Morata at Real Madrid. Lukaku has been the second top scorer in this season of the Premier League.
