Manchester City have concluded their last season without any trophy in their closet and are looking desperate to make the next one a memorable one in terms of silverware and results. Pep Guardiola, the present man in charge at the Etihad Stadium has made it clear that he means serious business this season by already signing two brilliant players in the form of midfielder Bernardo Silva from French Ligue 1 champions Monaco and goalkeeper Ederson from Portuguese Super Lig champions Benfica.
The Citizens are not showing any intention to keep hold of their out-of-favour players, and the fate of their players who have been let out on loan are not going to be much different, with no possibility of a recall for either Samir Nasri or Joe Hart into the Manchester City team in the next term.
Samir Nasri, the French attacking midfielder had a quite good season at Sevilla on loan from Manchester City last season. He made 31 appearances in total for the former Europa League winners, scoring three goals and laying off three assists as well. However, that might not be enough to convince the Spanish club, as they might not be ready to meet the £100,000 per week wage demand of the Frenchman and offer him a permanent contract for the next season.
The situation being quite precarious for the ex-Arsenal midfielder, the three probable destinations for him in the next season might be-
Paris Saint Germain-
The former French champions always have an affinity to have star players in their ranks and might be looking to make a move for the French midfielder in the summer transfer window. The fact that a player of Nasri’s stature will be available on the cheap might interest them into the deal even more.
Lyon-
Another French club, Lyon, who are on the verge of losing their influential forward Alexandre Lacazette in the next season, might look forward to signing Nasri for their team in the summer. The French midfielder has been in good form of late and might be picked up by the French Ligue 1 side to strengthen their squad to some extent.
Everton-
The Toffees are in danger of losing one of their best players this summer in the form of attacking midfielder Ross Barkley, who has denied to pen down a new contract with the Merseyside club. An in-form Nasri can be a good option for them to replace him.
