Ousmane Dembele has been the hottest property of Borussia Dortmund on display throughout the whole of the last season and has attracted interests from a number of big name clubs from all over the world who want to be the possessor of this French youngster. Spanish giants Barcelona are being keenly contested by Manchester City and Liverpool to bag Dembele for the new season in order to strengthen their team.
The right winger has been in outstanding form in the recently concluded season in the German Bundesliga for his club Borussia Dortmund, which he joined last summer from French club Rennes. The 20-year-old has scored 10 times in 49 appearances for his current club and has assisted his teammates on 21 occasions to score goals throughout the last season, thus bursting into top flight football scenario in an amazing manner.
Reportedly, Manchester City, who have not been able to get any silverware under their belt in the last season despite of having a strong line-up, which could not perform as well as expected and also due to injury concerns to a number of their key players, are looking to make early inroads into the transfer market and have already secured the services of players like Bernardo Silva from French Ligue 1 champions Monaco and Ederson from Portuguese champions Benfica to revamp their squad big time.
Now they are eyeing the 20-year-old French star in order to strengthen their midfield and make sure that they are on course to get their hands on a number of silverwares in the following season.
