Crystal Palace revived their season this term, owing to a desperate performance by their players towards the ending stages. The Eagles showed a lot of character and played well in a number of matches to keep their club for the next season in the top flight.
In the next season as well, the Eagles will look to continue their good run in the Premier League and will look to finish it in a better position than the one they did this season. For that, they are already looking to bring in players who will give them the desired strength to stabilise the squad for the season to come.
One such player who has attracted the eyes of the Crystal Palace club management is the Senegalese striker Famara Diedhiou. The 24-year-old has been in good form of late and has been one of the players to look out for in this year’ s French Ligue 1 competition throughout the season. His efforts have been considered to be one of the most influential in making it a good season for his club Angers, who entered the final of this season’s French Cup to book a berth against the former Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.
The Senegalese striker has been at the top of his form and has been pursued by a number of potential suitors apart from Crystal Palace, including German Bundesliga side Freiburg, Spanish La Liga side Malaga and Italian Serie A side Udinese. Reportedly, all the aforementioned clubs have been desperate to make the star man of Angers wear their colours for the next season.
Diedhiou’s current club have also been looking to make good business out of their prized possession, in case he leaves for any of the above clubs in the next transfer window. However, the French Ligue 1 club is not supposed to indulge into a deal over their striking sensation in case the price is not right to let go off their brilliant forward in the next season.
The 24-year-old striker is known for his darting runs into the attacking third, thus making it difficult for the opposition defenders to mark him properly. He has the ability to deliver pinpoint passes into the opposition half and create opportunities for his teammates to score goals.
The Senegalese forward is also known for his ability to score from long distance as well as from close range. He has scored eight goals this season to show for his efforts for his club Angers.
