Reportedly, the Blues are ready to make a bid amounting to £45 million for the 30-year-old defender to secure his services for the next term from the Italian Serie A champions in the summer. Conte is quite sure that Bonucci is going to be the perfect replacement for the veteran English defender, who has already decided to leave the club after they lifted their sixth Premier League title last season.
With the current 3-4-3 formation that has been followed by the Italian mastermind Conte, the Bianconeri defender at the heart of his defence can be the perfect player to strengthen the squad for the next season. Reportedly, the Blues are looking to make a bid for the Brazilian left back Alex Sandro from Juventus as well, who is going to cost them nearly £52 million, given his brilliant performance in the last season for his club.
