Manchester United are not having the best of seasons, having to face a number of problems in every aspect of their current team. From defence to midfield and from goalkeeping to striking, there have been problems mounting up for the better part of the current season, and the Red Devils are in dire need of replenishment for the next season.
With a view to revamping the side, the current Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has started his venture to bag players who can play a crucial role in the team for the next season. Reportedly, he has said in a recent interview that there might be two or three new signings for the Red Devils in the next season.
Three players whom Manchester United can consider signing for the next season are as followed-
Jan Oblak-
Manchester United has been looking for a suitable replacement for their current goalkeeper David De Gea after the latter has been linked with a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid. Speculations are rife that current Atletico Madrid keeper can be picked as a potential substitute for the Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea by Manchester United. Reportedly, the Slovenian goalkeeper’s representatives were recently in the UK for what is rumoured as a conversation regarding Oblak’s move to Old Trafford. However, his current club Atletico Madrid has put a hefty price tag of £85 million on the Slovenian shot-stopper, which might hold back the Red Devils from going for the deal.
Romelu Lukaku-
Keeping in view the injury of their top striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, that might sideline him for a long time in the next season, Manchester United are reportedly looking to bring in the Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku from Everton for the next season. The Everton striker has been in ominous form throughout the current season, scoring 24 goals for the Merseyside club. With his exhilarating pace and a predator’s instinct in front of the opposition goal, the Belgian can be one of the best options for the Red Devils upfront in the forthcoming season.
Cesc Fabregas-
Jose Mourinho was the man in charge at Stamford Bridge when Chelsea brought in Fabregas from Spanish giants Barcelona. Under him, the Spanish midfield maestro had a great season and went on to lift the Premier League. Under the new coach Antonio Conte, however, the Spaniard has started only 10 games in the current season and reportedly is looking for a move away from Chelsea. If the much-speculated reunion happens, Fabregas might play an important role in the Manchester United midfield.
