Burnley will be banking on their home record when they host West Bromwich Albion in the next match. The Clarets have been unbeatable at the Turf Moor as they have lost only two games so far. With Swansea City dropping points in the last game, Sean Dyche’s side would need only a win to secure their Premier League status for another season.
Burnley is one short to reach the 40 points benchmark and should they achieve that it would be an outstanding season for the Clarets. They are known for their disciplined football and against a resilient side like Baggies, they need to put a far better performance to subdue them.
The Baggies haven’t scored in the last five matches and it would be a grave concern for Tony Pulis’ side. They have scored a lot of goals from set piece situations and would be relying on that.
Predicted 4-4-2 Burnley Lineup Against West Bromwich Albion.
Defence
Tom Heaton is currently arguably one of the best keepers in the Premier League and day after day his heroics has saved the Clarets from further shambles. Heaton will once again take his place in the Burnley goal.
Ben Mee is currently injured and James Tarkowski will take his place in the defensive set up.
Michael Keane has made a mark with his performance in this season and his ever presence in the Burnley backline has given an amount of confidence to Sean Dyche’s side.
Stephen Ward is suffering from an injury but he is expected to be fit before the match.
Matthew Lowton will be desperate to put a top notch performance to give his side an upper hand.
Midfield
Ashley Westwood will be in his usual defensive midfield role. Assisting him in the midfield will be Jeff Hendrick. This midfield duo is capable of pulling the strings in the midfield.
Attack
Scott Arfield will be looking forward to adding some value to the attack. The 28-year-old has looked very promising throughout the season.
George Boyd will get another chance to prove his mettle. The 31-year-old has been a regular on the right flank and would be keen to make the amends.
Ashley Barnes was on target in the last match and he would love to add a few more to his tally.
Andre Gray will be his strike partner up front. He has scored nine goals so far and will try to help his team by providing the necessary goals.
