Bournemouth have had another reasonably good season under the tutelage of Eddie Howe and the Cherries have earned the rights for another season of Premier League football by showing the supremacy this term. They will entertain Burnley in their next match. Eddie Howe has emerged as one of the most talented young managers and the result has reflected in his team’s performances. The Cherries are currently on 42 points and are one behind a point that will overhaul their last year’s points tally.
The Cherries will welcome a team who have won a single away match so far in the entire season. Bournemouth will be adamant to put a solid performance so that they can exceed their expectations from the last season. Bournemouth were expected to finish much higher than where they are currently. Subsequent results and a drop in form have forced them to remain stuck in the 11th place. The Cherries have managed to keep just two clean sheets in the last 10 matches and Howe needs to address this concern.
Predicted 4-4-2 Bournemouth Lineup Against Burnley
Defence
Artur Boruc has been the preferred choice in the Cherries goal and he will remain the man under the bar in the next match.
Cherries defence has maintained a great shape throughout the season and they will try to salvage some pride in this match. Steve Cook and Simon Francis have so far done a brilliant job in the Cherries defence and will have a task to fulfil.
Charlie Daniels will try to pick a few crosses from the left side of the defence.
Adam Smith will start in the right back position.
Midfield
Lewis Cook and Harry Arter have formed a solid partnership at the heart of the midfield. The Cherries have their own style and have already proven their authority in the English top tier. Cook and Arter will find themselves up against a strong defensive side and they need to just roll on the ball in the midfield to keep the possession.
Attack
Junior Stanislas got a cramp in the last match but will be fit enough to feature in this match. He inspired a great evening as the Cherries played a 2-2 draw with Stoke City.
Marc Pugh has had his chances throughout the season and will try to go into the next season by putting an emphatic end to the current campaign.
Josh king has been in a late flurry of form and he has been the supplier of goals of late. Supporting him up front will be Lys Mousset.
