The current season of Premier League football has been one of the best seasons for Tottenham Hotspurs in their recent times. All the Spurs players have been instrumental in their highly successful season, which has left their team currently standing at the second position on the League table. It goes without saying that Mauricio Pochettino, the current coach of Tottenham will look to repeat the feat, even try to one-up their performance in the forthcoming season.
It goes without saying that the Spurs players have been completely dedicated in their performance throughout the current season. Mauricio Pochettino has been successful in building a team of charged up youngsters, who are sure to make the forthcoming seasons memorable as well for the White Hart Lane enthusiasts. Some players out of them deserve special mention, and Pochettino would like to ensure they don’t leave the club in the seasons to come.
Harry Kane-
The Tottenham captain has been in immaculate form, having scored 21 goals in 25 matches in the current season. Current deputy to Wayne Rooney as the England captain, Harry Kane, is very dangerous in the attacking third and has a predator’s instinct in front of the opposition goal. Kane is also the second leading goal scorer behind Romelu Lukaku this season so far. Pochettino would look to make his influential captain and striker stay back at White Hart Lane for many more seasons to come and ensure success to his club.
Dele Alli-
Dele Alli, is one of the best young talents that the current Tottenham coach Mauricio Pochettino has trusted in, and he returned his faith with absolutely brilliant performances in the current season. With 17 goals and 5 assists, Alli has been one of the best players in the Premier League hands down. He has also been awarded the PFA Best Young Player of the Year award to show for his efforts throughout the present season. He has been a firm favourite among the White Hart Lane enthusiasts and Pochettino should ensure he stays back at the club for a long time in the future.
Heung-Min Son-
Since his arrival from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015, the South Korean forward’s pairing with Dele and Kane has given a huge boost to the current Tottenham side. He has gone from strength to strength under the benevolent tutelage of the Tottenham manager. He has scored 12 goals in 19 appearances for Spurs this season, and the Spurs management must look to keep hold of the Asian attacker in the next season under any circumstances.
