Speculations are at a high with Arsenal striker Alexis Sanchez looking to leave the Emirates Stadium at the end of this season. Reportedly, German champions Bayern Munich are looking to sign the Chilean Marksman for the next season, following their exit from the Semi-Finals stage in the Uefa Champions League last month.
As per sources, Bayern Munich officials had flown in to watch the FA Cup matchup between Arsenal and Manchester City, which the North London club won by 2-1. Alexis Sanchez played a very crucial role in the match and was instrumental in his team’s win against City. The influential Chilean scored a goal in the matchup and also threaded important passes for his teammates.
The striker is having only 12 months of his contract left with Arsenal and has not yet accepted a new deal from the North London club. However, current club manager Arsene Wenger has refrained from commenting on the future of the Chilean star with his side.
Reportedly, Bayern Munich is looking to land Sanchez into the Allianz Arena in the next season with a big deal. However, there is a rumour that the Chilean might not give into the offer and will stay back at the Emirates Stadium for some more time.
The Bavarians need to get in some fresh legs for the next season, as two of their most influential players, Arjen Robben and Frank Ribery are in their mid-30’s and might not have much football left in them. Additionally, their Brazilian midfielder Douglas Costa has been out of favour under current boss Carlo Ancelotti and might look to leave the club at the end of this season. Alexis Sanchez will no doubt be a very valuable addition to the side and can give the Bavarians an edge over their opponents in Germany as well as Europe.
Alexis Sanchez has been a monumental player for the Gunners since his arrival at the Emirates Stadium from Barcelona in 2014. He has been a talismanic player for the Gunners throughout his tenure, playing a very crucial part in making them stay in the top four of the Premier League.
Reportedly, current Premier League Leaders Chelsea are also looking to get the Chilean marksman in their team for the next season. With their current top scorer Diego Costa being heavily linked with a move worth a huge amount to China in the next season, the Blues might look to bring in Sanchez as a replacement for the Spaniard.
