Everton have been in good knick in the current season of Premier League and will be looking to do better in the next season. However, they might have to do without a few key players who might leave the club during the transfer window and as a result, the present Everton coach Ronald Koeman is looking to revamp his side with some new players in the next season.
One player who has been reportedly linked with The Toffees for the next season is the Slovenian midfielder Juraj Kucka. The player, who generally prefers to play in the central midfield for his current club AC Milan as well as his National team, has been in good form of late and has attracted interest from a number of clubs from all over Europe.
The Rossoneri are having a fairly good season in the Italian Serie A and are currently at number six on the League table. Kucka has been one of the key players for them throughout the season and they hope that the Slovenian stays back at San Siro for the next season as well. However, Kucka has not been looking to extend his career at the Italian club and is eyeing a move preferably to the Premier League.
Everton, on the other hand, have been finding it quite difficult to hold back their opponents in the midfield and are not able to take full advantage of the highest scorer of the current Premier League season, Romelu Lukaku, being in their team. Ronald Koeman is looking desperate to bring in someone like Kucka to stabilise the tumultuous situation in their midfield so as to improve their position in the next season.
Everton are also eyeing the Slovenian midfielder to come into their side during the next transfer window in order to lessen the burden of their veteran midfielder Gareth Barry, who has been a very important contributor of assists for his teammates throughout his career with The Toffees.
Juran Kucka is known for his versatile style of playing. Predominantly a central midfielder, the Slovenian can also be deployed at various positions on the pitch. He is equally good as a defensive midfielder, as he is in the position of a forward on the right-hand side. He can also stabilise his team’s defence while playing as a right back.
The talented midfielder has made 28 appearances so far this season for the Rossoneri and AC Milan will look to hold onto their prized possession, given that he does not make a move out of San Siro for Goodison Park.
