Lucas Perez was brought in from Spanish side Deportivo La Coruna at the start of the season by the Gunners, who were confident that he will continue to keep up his good form for them. However, the Spaniard has failed to feature in most of the outings for Arsenal with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlin and Theo Walcott stealing the show.
Recently there are rumours that the 28-year old forward might leave the Premier League club with intent to go back to his former club Deportivo La Coruna for the next season. However, with neither the player nor his agent making any comment about the move, there are speculations of the Spaniard being linked with a number of clubs from all over Europe.
Deportivo La Coruna-
Lucas Perez was one of the best players to have played for the Spanish side. In fact, it was his performance with Deportivo La Coruna that fetched him a move to the Premier League side Arsenal last summer. However, there are rumours that the Spaniard might go back to his home country and most probably to his former club as well.
Lucas Perez was brought in from Greek side PAOK FC on a yearlong loan deal to Deportivo in 2014. He was instrumental in saving Deportivo’s season from going into the relegation zone in 2015, the same year when he was offered a four-year deal with the Spanish side. He scored 11 goals for his side in only 15 games, after missing almost half of the season owing to a knee injury.
Everton-
The Merseyside team has been looking for a new striker of late. With rumours catching the wind for the departure of mercurial striker Romelu Lukaku next season, current coach Ronald Koeman is looking to bring in a striker to fill the void.
Lucas Perez can be a prized possession for the Dutchman. With his incredible dribbling and shooting skills, the Spaniard can cause trouble to any defence on his day in the middle. However, his lack of exposure under the Frenchman Arsene Wenger can be a detriment to the Spaniard coping with the Premier League.
West Ham United-
Currently, the London club is facing a tough time in the bottom half of the Premier League table and are in desperate need for a goal scorer. Lucas Perez seems to fit into Slaven Bilic’s ideas to build an efficient attacking force in the next season. West Ham United can give the Spaniard a long desired opportunity to feature in action on the pitch given they sign him this summer.
