Tottenham Hotspur’s title credentials will once again be tested when they host a confident Watford at White Hart Lane.
Spurs’ home form has been almost impeccable this season as the North London side has been the only side in the Premier League to remain unbeaten on their home soil. They have played 15 matches till now and barring two draws, they have managed to win the rest of the 13 games.
If Spurs do succeed to keep their home form intact they will be able to achieve Chelsea’s feat in the 2014-15 season when the Blues remained unbeaten at the Stamford Bridge on the way to their fifth Premier League title.
On the other side, Watford’s form has been indifferent. There have been questions over Walter Mazzarri’s future as the Hornets’ repeated failure to string together a number of wins has seen their season falling short of the actual promise made.
But successive wins in the last two matches has somehow strengthened their position in the Premier League table as they have moved on to the 10th position with 37 points.
Watford have never been able to win a match at the White Hart Lane since 1985 but recently caused a major upset by defeating Arsenal and would love to repeat the feat with their North London neighbours.
