Bournemouth will try to continue their resurgence under Eddie Howe when they will travel to Anfield to face Liverpool. The Cherries haven’t lost in the last four matches and will try to contain an in-form Liverpool.
Bournemouth had started this season on a promising note but have failed to carry on the momentum in the next string of games. Eddie Howe’s strategy has somehow not been able to match the standard of the Premier League but this Cherries side has the capability to create an uproar in the League.
Liverpool was on the losing side when the last time these team took on each other. Nathan Ake scored a stoppage-time winner to inflict a defeat on the Reds and Jurgen Klopp would hope not to repeat the same result.
A top ten finish for the Cherries would be great for them and Bournemouth would fancy their chances of rubbing their shoulder against a not so formidable Liverpool defence.
Predicted 4-4-2 Bournemouth Lineup Against Liverpool
Defence
Artur Boruc has been the first choice keeper for the Cherries and will continue to serve between the sticks.
Steve Cook has raised his standard from time to time. The 25-year old has been one of the most sound defenders of the Premier League and will try to relish this opportunity by putting up a notable display.
Bournemouth captain Simon Francis will be the other central defender.
Charlie Daniels will occupy the left back role.
Adam Smith will try to have an impact from the right side of the Cherries defence.
Midfield
With Andrew Surman injured, Jack Wilshere might get his first start since February. The Arsenal loanee is, at last, showing the form for what he was brought to the Vitality Stadium. He has the ability to find acres of space and also has the knack of testing the goalkeeper from distance.
Beside Wilshere, it will be Dan Gosling. The midfield pair will have the task to get the balance right between the attack and the defence.
Attack
23-year-old Ryan Fraser will try to add some width from the right wing. The teenager has created a number of opportunities and will test James Milner with his sheer pace and thrust.
Marc Pugh has had a brilliant impact so far and is expected to get a start.
Joshua King has so far started 24 times for the Cherries and is poised to lead the team against the powerful Reds.
Benik Afobe will be the other striker.
