Manchester City obliterated Southampton 3-0, scoring all of their three in the second half as they travelled to Saint Mary’s for their game against Southampton. The first half got neither goalkeeper’s gloves much dirty.
Vincent Kompany opened the scoring in the 55th minute with a header from David Silva’s corner. Leroy Sane doubled the lead in the 77th minute tapping in after being teed up by De Bruyne. Sergio Aguero killed the game off in the 80th minute as he headed in De Bruyne’s lovely lifted cross.
