Riding on the strong performance in the Manchester City match, Manchester United will now bank on the home comfort to push themselves for a top-four spot when they host Swansea City in the next match of the Premier League on Sunday.
Injuries after injuries have been a setback for Jose Mourinho’s team who dealt with another injury as Timothy Fosu-Mensah got a shoulder injury at the end of the last match. With such a thin squad it would be very difficult for Mourinho to cope up with the Europe League semi-final also nearing and he might rotate his squad to give rest to a number of key players keeping in mind of the importance of the tournament.
The Red Devils are currently in the fifth position and can move into the top four for a temporary period if they do win against the Swans as Liverpool is not in action until Monday. A Top four spot is still up for grabs as they have a pending match in hand over Liverpool.
Swansea did manage to win against Stoke City but their recent form hasn’t been good at all. They will try to recover their lost ground as Paul Clement will be looking for another upset. United dominated the last time these two sides met as the Red Devils went on to win the match 3-1.

Swansea City
Nathan Dyer, Angel Rangel, and Wayne Routledge have injuries and they will be missing this match. Jack Cork, Martin Olsson and Leroy Fer might get fit in time before the match.

Key Players
Manchester United
Marcus Rashford
All the eyes will be on Rashford who has been the driving force in Zlatan’s absence in recent matches. He will once again be deployed in his favourite position and if United are to take full points from this match Rashford needs to show maturity with his performance. The youngster has been nurtured very carefully and the result has been very fruitful.
Fernando Llorente
The Spaniard has been the sole producer of goals for the Wales based side and Clement would once again be hoping that he comes up with a good performance.
