Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has issued table-toppers Chelsea a warning that they are ready to bank on any mistakes made by them. Spurs are currently in second place although they have played one match more than Manchester City.
Riding on a brace from Harry Kane, Tottenham continued their excellent form in the English top flight as they defeated Everton 3-2 to maintain pressure on Chelsea. Dele Alli scored the other goal as Pochettino’s side now have registered nine home wins on the trot.
Pochettino’s said, “The most important thing is to show the belief on the pitch and today I think we showed that.
“More than talk and more than speak outside, it is better the team show their performance because I think (regarding) belief the answer is very easy.
“We need to be there, it’s not up to us of course, but it’s up to us to be ready if they fail.”
