Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli has been absolutely sensational for the North London giants and his brilliant form has attracted a lot of interest. A number of top clubs including the likes of Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United are extremely keen to rope in the talented midfielder. His antics in the middle of the park have earned him an England call-up and he continues to perform consistently for Spurs.
Alli came through the ranks of MK Dons and after impressing for them, the North London club had decided to sign the player. Injuries to Nabil Bentaleb and Ryan Mason paved the way for Alli and he grabbed the opportunity with both hands. The 20-year-old has so far found the net 24 times. He can be deployed anywhere in the midfield and is capable of finding gaps in the opposition defence. He also has the knack of hitting the target from a long distance and is also quite good in his defensive attributes.
Gradually, Alli has established himself as one of the best midfielders in the world and recently signed a new deal to pledge his future to the club. Although it seems that the midfielder is here to stay but if he leaves the club in the foreseeable future, these three clubs could be his possible destinations.
Manchester United
Manchester United had the chance to sign him for just a paltry £5m but wasted it. They recently shelled out a world record fee to bring Paul Pogba to the Old Trafford but the French midfielder has so far failed to justify his price tag. Time and again Jose Mourinho has expressed his concerns over the absence of a prominent goal scorer in the squad. Zlatan Ibrahimovic has the highest number of goals for them but the Swede is 35 and Mourinho simply cannot rely on him entirely. Alli, who can fit into most positions in the attacking third can solve this problem at United.
Bayern Munich
The defending German champions are also one of the admirers of the midfielder. The English midfielder is one of the most exciting prospects of the world and would be an upgraded version of Renato Sanches who hasn’t been impressive for the German club.
It is a testament to Alli’s calibre that clubs such as Munich are being spoken in the same breath while discussing possible destinations for him.
Real Madrid
James Rodriguez’s future is hanging by a thread and should he choose to leave, Alli could be a possible replacement for the Columbian. Allli has been linked with Los Blancos earlier but he signed a new deal to extend his stay at the club and it would be difficult for the Spanish giants to entice the club to sell.
