Jose Mourinho has showered praise on the Manchester United supporters saying that he has never seen more passionate fans than them. Mourinho is currently in his maiden season with United.
The Portuguese became the first United manager to win a trophy in his first season when United got the better of Southampton to emerge winners in the final of the FA Cup. The Red Devils supporters have always been very vocal when it comes to cheering for their team.
Mourinho has managed a number of clubs including Porto, Real Madrid and Chelsea but thinks that United supporters do have an edge over the others. “I have to say I’ve been impressed by your dedication and commitment, as season ticket holders here at United.
“I’ve managed several clubs and I have never seen such unrivalled passion. The stadium is full every time we play and the support the players receive is special.
“But it’s not in our nature to stand still and reflect. We must look forward, work hard, improve, believe and enjoy the journey along the way.”
