Former Manchester United player Quinton Fortune says that United can still challenge Chelsea for the Premier League title. United are currently sixth on the table with 48 points but have played a match less than fifth-placed Liverpool.
Chelsea are currently flying high in the Premier League and are on their way towards their sixth Premier League title. The Blues are having a wonderful season under Antonio Conte and have lost only three matches so far. On the other hand, Jose Mourinho’s side haven’t lost since October and will face Bournemouth in the next match and will be looking to carry on their form.
Fortune who played for United from 1999 to 2006 said,
“We’ve got the trophy on Sunday, that’s the most important.
“One down, three to go. The league is still to play for.
“Chelsea is doing well this season but it’s not over until it’s over.
“We’ll push them right until the end with the Europa League and FA Cup still to play for.”
