Joel Robles (8)- One of the less hectic days for the goalie where he had very little to do except keeping his focus at all time. Although Albion forced him to make a couple of good saves occasionally, it was nothing quite challenging for him.
Seamus Coleman (7.5)– His emergence as one of the most important and reliable players for the Toffees this season had forced Pulis to mark him closely throughout the game. And it pretty much kept him quiet while on the attack, as James McClean did a decent job. His defensive insecurities, however, is worth a concern for Koeman.
Ashley Williams (8)- He has been one of the most consistent players for the Toffees in this second half of the season. Although his ball distribution has been quite erring of late, his defence has been solid as a rock and is clearly the manager’s most trusted player at the moment.
Phil Jagielka (7.5)– A quite unexpected start for Everton’s old man at the back. Partnered Williams quite well although a bit nervous in the opening quarter of the game. However, he got back his flow as the game progressed and was in full throttle soon.
Leighton Baines (6)- Had to be subbed off at half-time following what looked like a critical injury in the dying stages of the half. And considering that Everton doesn’t have a natural left-back to replace him potentially, makes it only worse.
Gareth Barry (8)- A decent defensive display by the veteran. His passing in the attacking third looked sublime at times and he was often successful in thwarting Albion’s attack.
Morgan Schneiderlin (8.5)- After a pathetic display at White Hart Lane, there are was a huge need for this kind of performance. G0t his goal for the Toffees, which was brilliantly taken considering the amount of pressure he was under.
Ross Barkley (9)- One of the best displays from Everton’s star player this season. He did almost everything right. He outfoxed his markers often with his choice of passing and his confidence was overflowing today.
Tom Davies (7.5)- It is clear the boss sees him in a more advanced role in the future and he did pretty well with the ball at his feet too, but he looked out of position at times and we think a deeper role can bring out the best from him.
Kevin Mirallas (8)- Apart from the goal, there was little he did to make an impact the game in the first half. He improved vastly in the second half.
Romelu Lukaku (8)- A calm and composed display from the superb forward. His movement and positioning puts him above most strikers in the league. Got one assist and the icing on the cake with a goal.
