Antonio Conte is set to get a contract extension at Chelsea. According to reports, the Blues are considering handing the Italian a brand new contract to extend his stay at the Stamford Bridge.
The Italian has been absolutely sensational with his tactics. His idea of playing with a three-man defence has been a hit and has contributed hugely to their run. Chelsea are currently sitting at the top of the Premier League with a cushion of ten points over second placed Tottenham Hotspur and it looks like Conte is on the verge of winning the Premier League in his maiden season in England.
Conte has been linked with a move back to Italy with Inter Milan as the possible destination. The Italians giants are reportedly very keen to rope in the manager to replace Stefano Pioli. Conte’s current contract is due to expire in June 2019 but Chelsea hierarchy wants to make his stay a longer one.
