Antonio Conte has taken a jibe at Arsene Wenger after the latter claimed ‘’there’s only one team in London.” The comment was made in the context of a rumoured move of Alexis Sanchez to Chelsea.
Arsenal are the only high profile London club who have not performed this season the way they should have. Wenger’s side is currently struggling to find a foothold in the Premier League and might not be able to finish in the top four for the first time in the last twenty-one years.
Wenger’s strategy has been severely criticised this season and the gaffer has ben linked with a way out from the club, he has been managing for almost a decade.
Antonio Conte said, “I didn’t know this, but I think in London there are many teams. Tomorrow, for example, it’s a derby against Crystal Palace.
“I like to listen to the other coaches but, for me, I prefer always to have great respect for all the players from all the clubs.”
