Antonio Conte has refuted rumours linking him with the Inter Milan job. The gaffer was appointed as the Chelsea manager before the start of this season.
Conte has guided the team to the top of the table and if everything goes the right, Chelsea are very much on their way to clinch their sixth Premier League title. After a dismal last year, Chlesea handed the responsibility to the 46-year-old to upturn their form. Conte has turned things around at the Stamford Bridge and the position Chelsea are today it’s down to him.
The Italian’s direct approach to the game has benefitted his team. One of the most passionate managers of world football, Conte has been reportedly offered a staggering £10million a season for managing Inter. But the Italian has rejected all the claims and wants to remain focused on his current job.
“I think the situation is very clear. I have a contract with Chelsea and we are trying to do something important with the club for the present and for the future.
“Every coach, when you start work with a new club, you hope to stay many, many years, because it means you are working very well.
“You have the possibility to improve your players, to improve your team and to grow together. The only problem for me is that the family is missing me for sure.
“They stay in Italy and I am working for the future to try to bring them here and to stay together because my family is missing me.”
