Manuel Neuer (7/10): Couldn’t have done much against Walcott’s tremendous finish for the Arsenal opener. Had a decent game afterwards, giving instruction for his team from the back.
Rafinha (8/10): Started in place of captain Philip Lahm and the Brazilian fullback didn’t disappoint either, always overlapping from the right flank and providing to be a threat out wide. He was given much freedom as the game progressed.
Javi Martinez (7/10): Didn’t have a great time against the likes of Ramsey and co. His lack of pace was a big problem for the Bayern defence but improved as the game went on.
Mats Hummels (8/10): Very active in defence, Hummels had an eventful evening against Arsene Wenger’s troops. The former Dortmund captain managed a whopping 11 clearances and was a fighter in defence.
David Alaba (7.5/10): Struggled against the blistering pace of Theo Walcott in the first half but improved massively in the second half. The Bayern equaliser gave the Austrian international some space to roam in the final third.
Xabi Alonso (7.5/10): He was caught for lack of pace but the sheer class, he possesses gave Bayern an extra hand in dominating the midfield, especially in the second half.
Arturo Vidal (10/10): Was incredible, to say the least! Vidal was hands down the best player on the night and his numbers are quite sensational too. 75 passes, 100 touches are the most by any player on the field. He also managed a mammoth eight interceptions and attempted 10 tackles. His brace at the end put the nail in Arsenal coffin.
Arjen Robben (8.5/10): Proved a threat throughout the game as the Dutchman was the main man in most of Bayern’s attacking moments. Sometimes, he also tracked back to help the buildup play.
Thiago Alcantara (7.5/10): Didn’t have a flashy game but played an orchestral role in keeping the midfield in tip-top shape. The Spanish International continues to enjoy a great season under new boss Carlo Ancelotti.
Franck Ribery (7.5/10): The Frenchman was the best Bayern Munich attacker in the first half when Arsenal was really dominating the game. In fact, he wasn’t as active in the second half and got replaced by Douglas Costa for the final 20 minutes.
Robert Lewandowski (8.5/10): He was rather non-existent in the first half but came back to his former self in the second. The Polish International scored home the penalty to put kill the game in 55th minute.
