Wales manager Chris Coleman has backed Aaron Ramsey after the latter has been criticised by some Gunners fans. The midfielder has been struggling to get back his form this season.
The Wales international has failed to replicate his form in an injury-ravaged season. Ramsey played a significant part in Wales superb Euro 2016 campaign where they lost against Portugal. The midfielder couldn’t play in the semis as he was suspended. He is having a tough time since his arrival from France. The inclusion of Granit Xhaka has seen him lose his starting place and has mostly been used from the bench when he has been fit. But he is expected to start against Liverpool in the next match.
Coleman said,
“Since he moved from Cardiff to Arsenal he’s had one or two people quickly jumping on the bandwagon to criticise him.
“He’s an easy target and he’s had one or two criticising him but he’s a great player.”
