Chelsea will look to bounce back from their mini-hiccup which they suffered in the 1-1 draw at Turf Moor at the hands of a resolute and notoriously tight Burnley outfit. While they are still miles ahead of the rest (in Premier League terms at least), seeing the points gap close down to 8 and with a bunch of supremely talented teams chasing them for the rest of the season, the setback has to be put behind for the time being.
Chelsea failed to advance much in the League Cup, exiting the competition at the hands of West Ham United and have just the FA Cup to deal with other than the all-important Premier League. While there has been a huge debate surrounding the big teams not paying the amount of respect the competition deserves, Chelsea, with their limited depth and their wonderful position to win the League might well prioritise and the debate it seems will gain momentum again after the weekend.
2 points dropped last weekend would have been unsettling for the Blues who had got accustomed to collecting 3 points regularly and they will know that a fit and full strength 11 is going to be necessary if they are to maintain the lead and approach the finishing line.
Their FA Cup fixture is against the Wolves, who proved to be the giant-killers in the last round, dumping Liverpool out of the competition and they will again approach this match without any fear.
PREDICTED CHELSEA XI VS WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS (3-4-3)
DEFENCE
Begovic is likely to get a game between the sticks and it will be a deserved one with the player impressing whenever he has got the chance. Luiz is likely to be rested and John Terry is going to take his place at the heart of the defence. Azpilicueta is likely to continue while Kurt Zouma will come in place of Gary Cahill.
MIDFIELD
In the right wingback role, Ola Aina will hope for a game in place of Moses while at left wing-back the impressive Nathan Ake is likely to get a much-deserved start. In central midfield, Chalobah is likely to get a game alongside the more adventurous Cesc Fabregas who will be given much more freedom to operate and run the show.
ATTACK
Michy Batshuayi is going to start up front with Willian looking like a certainty on the right flank. Loftus-Cheek is a viable option on the left and might well play if Conte decides to rotate all out.
