Pep Guardiola says that the criticism of Arsene Wenger is not right. Wenger has been heavily criticised recently for his team’s performances, especially after the 5-1 thrashing at the hands of Bayern Munich.
Wenger’s future is the subject of intense speculation as the veteran is yet to take a decision on his future. According to reports, he has been offered a two-year deal but a decision will be taken after the season is over. The French gaffer’s contract is due to expire at the end of this season.
Currently, they are 10 points adrift of Chelsea in the Premier League and their hopes of winning the title are all but over.
Guardiola said, “My friend, I take the decisions, you analyse my decisions.
“You have to take a decision before [the game], to the best solution. It was what I did. If you don’t agree, you can write it.
“What I hear in the last 10 days, about how people, ex-players, journalists, treat Arsene Wenger is unacceptable.
“Our job, in that moment, doesn’t have any respect for any position, so it is not respectable, what happened.
