Real Madrid are preparing to reignite their interest in Manchester United keeper David De Gea in the next transfer window.
The European Champions have been in the market for a long time in the search for a goalkeeper. They have enquired about Thibaut Courtois and Hugo Lloris but De Gea remains their number one target.
Madrid first choice Keylor Navas has been decent for the Los Blancos but has faced criticism for his errors in recent matches. Florentino Perez had almost signed the United keeper in 2015 but a faulty fax machine saved the day for the Red Devils. Navas went on to lift the Champions League trophy that season.
Reports are claiming that the Spanish giants are ready to splash a mammoth €70m for the 26-year-old. United are currently in the sixth position in the Premier League and if they fail to finish in the top four, Madrid might have an outside chance to land the shot stopper.
