Manchester City will reportedly block any approach from Liverpool to sign goalkeeper Joe Hart. Hart is currently on loan at Torino.
Jürgen Klopp signed Loris Karius from Mainz in the summer but the German shot-stopper hasn’t been able to impress the gaffer. Klopp decided to reinstate Simon Mignolet at the Reds goal but the Belgian keeper has also been very average with his performances.
Guardiola brought in Claudio Bravo from Barcelona as he was not very impressed with Hart’s performance. The England number one knows he has no future at Etihad and Torino wanted to make his stay permanent.
But the only stumble is his wage. The maximum portion of Hart’s salary is being paid by City and Torino won’t be able to cover all of the keeper’s wages.
Chelsea were also trying to move for the keeper but it seems City won’t sell the player to a direct Premier League rival.
