Liverpool has set their sight on Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The Gabon striker has been in demand for a long time.
Liverpool have failed miserably in the title challenge this season. Despite their awful results, Jürgen Klopp didn’t do any business in this winter transfer window and will be relying on Adam Lallana, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho to deliver in the crunch time.
Daniel Sturridge has been cutting a sorry figure after some dismal performances and Klopp could utilise this opportunity to offload the player. Liverpool signed the player from Chelsea for £12m but the player hasn’t kicked on under the tutelage of Klopp.
The Reds would offer in the range of £40m for the Bundesliga sensation. Klopp has been told by the Liverpool owners that he will be backed with a huge transfer kitty.
It was Klopp who brought him to Dortmund and it seems he is going to repeat the feat at Liverpool.
