Antonio Conte is eyeing a move for Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio. The Italian international has been fallen down the pecking order this season after an injury. He has made only 14 appearances this season and is no longer a first team player under Massimiliano Allegri.
Conte had the chance to work with the 31-year-old midfielder while he was managing Juventus and the Italian national team. Conte knows the defender very well and wants to utilise his talents in the Premier League.
Marchisio has a contract till 2020 but would prefer a move away from Italy.
With the departure of Oscar and John Obi Mikel, there are two places up for grabs and Marchisio could be the replacement.
Chelsea are now 12 points adrift and are the favorites to win the Premier League.
Conte has already identified his summer targets and Marchisio is one of the players.
