AC Milan are reportedly set to revive their interest in Cesc Fabregas. The Chelsea midfielder was heavily linked with a move away from the Stamford Bridge.
The Spanish midfielder hasn’t featured prominently in Antonio Conte’s plans as the Italian has been deploying N’Golo Kanté and Nemanja Matic at the middle of the park as the Blues have opted a more balanced 3-4-3 formation.
Fabregas was handed a start by Conte in the last game against Swansea and the midfielder returned the favour by scoring one and setting up another. There has been speculation regarding his future with the club but he recently revealed his intentions to stay at the club.
AC Milan are expected to be taken over by wealthy Chinese investors and they are set to make a big offer for him. The Italian giants have shown the glimpse of their old form this season and are currently seventh in Serie A. Fabregas’ form hasn’t gone unnoticed and the Milan hierarchy will try hard to rope in the player.
