Real Madrid’s Isco has reportedly expressed his interest to leave the club. The midfielder is having a tough time at Santiago Bernabeu and has had very limited appearances this season.
Chelsea reportedly have inquired about the midfielder’s availability whose contract is expiring in the summer of 2018. Isco grabbed two assists as Madrid defeated Espanyol 2-0. The 24-year-old played a full match after almost a gap of four months which can easily point to his position at the club.
The player had almost signed for City but a timely intervention from Zinedine Zidane had stopped the player from moving to the English giants. He reportedly has a €40 million (£34.2m) release clause in his contract and a number of clubs are ready to splash the cash for him.
Isco himself has given a hint on his future, “I’m calm. What worries me is to have minutes.
“A player’s career is small.
“I’m happy here and would stay many more years.
“From now until the end of the season, we will make a decision. It is my future at stake.”
