Thomas Tuchel has revealed he is quite happy at Borussia Dortmund as of now. Tuchel is one of the candidates shortlisted by Arsenal to replace Arsene Wenger.
Wenger’s contract is about to expire at the end of the season and his future is still in the balance. Reports are hovering around that the veteran French manager might leave the club after managing them for more than twenty years.
Tuchel has been managing Dortmund since the departure of Jürgen Klopp. Arsenal have identified a number of names including Max Allegri, Eddie Howe and Roger Schmidt but Tuchel remains the most wanted. The manager has just over a year left on his current deal.
Tuchel’s relationship with the club has deteriorated for a few reasons. Despite playing so well, the German giants are in fourth place in the Bundesliga. The gaffer reportedly had a row with chief scout Sven Mislintat which might force him to reconsider his future.
On being asked about a possible move to Arsenal he replied, “Arsenal rumours? I can’t say anything about that because I don’t know anything about it.
“I’m on a contract with Dortmund and I’m happy here.”
