The Best And The Worst Tottenham Hotspur Players Rated From Their Win Against Fulham

Tottenham eased off to a 3-0 win at the Craven Cottage against Fulham, courtesy of a Harry Kane hat-trick. The North London outfit started brightly and were rewarded in the 16th minute itself when Kane tapped in Eriksen’s excellent delivery. Kane doubled the lead for Spurs in the 51st minute with another tap-in from close range.

Fulham had a decent spell of controlled possession but weren’t able to convert it. Kane completed his hat-trick in the 73rd-minute as he slotted past Bettinelli to dispel any hopes of a Fulham comeback. Below are Tottenham’s individual player ratings.

Michel Vorm

Rating: 7

The 33-year-old made an error which nearly allowed Fulham to equalise but his overall performance between the sticks was decent.

Kieran Trippier

Rating: 7.5

The right-back did well defensively and showed some good awareness of the players around the right-channel.

Toby Alderweireld

Rating: 7.5

The Belgian was decent and read the danger well although was culpable of allowing Fulham some aerial leeway just before and after the first half.

Jan Vertonghen

Rating: 7

Vertonghen was a bit rusty coming on after spending about a month out with an injury.

Ben Davies

Rating: 7.5

Davies made several decent runs down the left hand side and was quite influential offensively.

Harry Winks

Rating: 7.5

Winks gave Tottenham an urgency with his incisive passing and turns through the middle.

Victor Wanyama

Rating: 7.5

Wanyama did a great job, out-muscling Fulham midfielders quite easily for the ball.

Christian Eriksen

Rating: 8.5

The Danish playmaker bagged two assists, both of which were excellent passes. His awareness and pass accuracy were exemplary.

Heung-Min Son

Rating: 7

Son did well to get into good positions but was often clueless and lost the ball very often on the left flank trying to dribble past defenders.

Dele Alli

Rating: 8

Alli’s improvisation in the box was particularly great and he also bagged the assist for Harry Kane’s third goal with a decent through ball.

Harry Kane

Rating: 9

Kane scored an excellent hat-trick with two really good tap-ins from close range and did well to slot it past the keeper for the third goal.

Substitutes

Moussa Sissoko

Rating: 7.5

Sissoko made several runs down the right but it eventually resulted in no end-product.

Moussa Dembele

Rating: 7.5

Dembele did well in the final minutes of the game to hold the ball and enabled the attacking players to operate efficiently.

Joshua Onomah

Rating: N/A

Onomah played too little to warrant a rating.
