Central Midfielder
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain- If a manager is looking to get his dirty job done and also produce some inch-perfect passes up front on the break, the English midfielder’s ability will clearly suit him. Although he is not as potent as Thiago Alcantara from the midfield, he possesses a defensive attribute the former Barca star misses.
Arturo Vidal- If you are looking for a better and furnished version of N’Golo Kante, Vidal is the answer. Like all Chilean midfielders, his work rate is his USP and he uses it to the fullest to win balls back in a flash.
Playmaker
Mesut Ozil- Although the player is going through a purple patch at the moment with the manager stating that he has lost his confidence, one can hardly doubt his ball-playing abilities. If there is one player, who can split Bayern’s defence with one simple pass, it is him.
Left Wing
Alexis Sanchez- He has been in beast mode for Arsenal this season and deserves to be in the line-up. Against the 33-year-old Franck Ribery, the Chilean gets the nod easily.
Right Wing
Arjen Robben- The Dutchman has never had a poor patch in his life. His impeccable left-foot has earned quite a lot of plaudits and Ospina will have to watch out for the curler that has won quite a lot of games.
Centre-Forward
Robert Lewandowski- The Bayern forward has been phenomenal this season and honestly, he doesn’t have any competition in his position.
