Lorenzo Insigne has emerged as the number one target for Arsenal in the upcoming summer transfer window. The Italian has been impressive for Napoli this season.
The 25-year-old has been a key figure for Napoli this season, bagging nine goals and eight assists this term. He scored a wonderful goal against Real Madrid in the Champions League pre-quarters but the Italian Club went on to lose the match 3-1.
The Gunners reportedly had their scouts present in the stands as Napoli thrashed Chievo 3-1 with Insigne scoring one and setting up another. The Italian international has a contract till 2019 and that shouldn’t be a problem for the English outfit who have been struggling recently.
Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez are yet to take a decision on their future and there is a slight possibility that they might not renew their contract. Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis has slapped a price of £44m on the player which might sound a bit pricier for the Gunners.
