Liverpool are set to reward Adam Lallana for his outstanding performances with a brand new contract. His current deal runs until 2019 and he is expected to sign a new deal till 2021.
The English midfielder moved to the Merseyside club in 2014 but had a really tough start under then manager Brendan Rodgers. But he has rediscovered his form under Jürgen Klopp and has emerged as one of the regulars under him.
Klopp had earlier made his desire clear to keep him at the club and Liverpool are only ensuring that. The 28-year-old is set for a huge pay rise in the tune of £150,000 per week.
Lallana has thrived in a deeper midfield role and is also a key player for England but an injury this season has halted his progress. Should he sign the contract he will be the third player after Philippe Coutinho and Joe Gomez to pledge his future to the club.
