Midfield
Francis Coquelin’s hamstring injury has largely reduced Arsenal’s midfield options at the moment. Cazorla is still out for two months, and Elneny is at least four weeks away at AFCON.
The only option left is Aaron Ramsey and Granit Xhaka.
Although Wenger is likely to bring on the likes of Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Zelalem, other youth products, they aren’t expected to start the game.
While the extent of Mesut Ozil’s illness is still uncertain, Alex Iwobi will continue to sparkle in the number 10 role.
Attack
Wenger will definitely give a chance to Lucas Perez after his brilliant display against the Cherries. Wenger is likely to give Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain another shot at the starting lineup as well.
Although Perez is a doubt at the moment with yet another ankle injury, he is likely to shake it off before the game.
Olivier Giroud is likely to start up front as Wenger confirmed that he won’t risk Alexis Sanchez.
