Midfield
Jordan Henderson limped off against Manchester City early with what appeared to be not so serious heel injury and Klopp is unlikely to risk him against Sunderland.
We expect Emre Can to start as the deepest midfielder against the Black Cats.
Adam Lallana has been in an excellent form this season and will keep his place in midfield.
Georginio Wijnaldum scored the crucial winner against Manchester City with a striker-esque header and was the best player on the pitch. The Dutchman will keep his place in midfield.
Attack
Sadio Mane will be off to Gabon after the Sunderland game for the African Cup of Nations and will be keen to have a solid outing before going. He will start on the right.
Roberto Firmino is expected to start on the left flank with Divock Origi leading the line.
