After weeks of staying untouchable at the top of the La Liga table, Real Madrid have finally faltered. And it has opened the table to the top four teams. Barcelona trails Los Blancos by only two points now and the race for the La Liga is on.
Barcelona have a couple of easy fixtures in the next few weeks, where they would like the close the gap with the league leaders as much as possible. They next visit the Basque Country for the second time in four days as they take on Eibar on Sunday.
While Eibar are winless in their last two home games, Barcelona have lost two of their last four meetings versus the Basque sides, Real Sociedad and Alaves. Hence, a chance for Eibar is very much possible. The Catalans have, however, won all their top-flight meetings with Eibar and are clear favourites to bag three points.

Defence
Enrique is expected to field a strong squad after resting few players during the midweek Cope del Rey clash with Real Sociedad.
Ter Stegen is expected to come back under the bar. He was rested against Sociedad with Enrique starting with Cillessen.
Lucas Digne started in the left back role in the midweek and we expect the regular Jordi Alba to take his place in the weekend.
The decision of not playing Javier Mascherano against Sociedad wasn’t quite understandable as the Argentine misses the weekend clash after he picked up his fifth yellow card last week in Barca’s win against Las Palmas. Samuel Umtiti will continue to take his place alongside Gerard Pique in the central defensive position.
Sergi Roberto played in the midweek against Sociedad and is expected to take his place again in the weekend.
